TF Forming Systems Project Highlight – Gortmaker Home in Missouri
At TF Forming Systems believe in building an Insulated Concrete Home but for many people, they either have not heard of using this type of material before or in some cases have been swayed from building an ICF home for various reasons.
Still Using 20th Century Concrete Block Building Materials in the 21st Century?
We’re always amazed that architects and designers are still specifying early 20th century building materials well into the 21st century.
TF Forming Systems is the manufacturer of Vertical Insulated Concrete Forms (ICFs) which provide an Energy Efficient and Disaster Resistant ICF Building System for residential and commercial buildings. Insulating panels made of expanded polystyrene EPS, extruded polystyrene XPS foam or another variation of insulated or non-insulated panel are used as a form that holds concrete. Plastic rails are used to connect the inside and outside insulating panels to hold them in place during the concrete pour of the ICF construction project. The plastic rails are utilized to attach interior and exterior finishes. Concrete is poured between the panels and the forms stay-in-place creating an Insulated Concrete Form wall system that is energy efficient, disaster resistant and sustainable. TF Forming Systems has set the standard for Vertical Insulated Concrete Forms and ICF building and construction projects.
Why Choose TF Over Other ICF' manufacturers? ThermoForm was designed by thinking outside the 'Block'.
Our Insulated Concrete Forms are installed VERTICAL instead of following the traditional horizontal block method, which allows the builder/installer more versatility, speed and ease of construction. It's the original and most widely used VERTICAL ICF. Our revolutionary TransForm insulated wall system brings Insulated Concrete Wall Forms to a whole new level. TransForm is a hybrid system between a regular poured wall form and an ICF. TransForm's unique design keeps all of the insulation on the outside of the wall which allows the system to take full advantage of the Thermal Mass unlike any other ICF on the market. Using lightweight and reusable components the TransForm insulated wall system is a professional form utilized primarily in the commercial construction market. Check out PENSMORE which is one of the largest residential projects by TF Forming Systems utilizing the TransForm building system. We are pioneers in resilient building.
We offer the most innovative state-of-the-art concrete wall systems in the industry, backed by over 20 years of success.
Everyday we work to forge new relationships because we know that the days of building fast, cheap and "like we always have" must end. We realize it is our responsibility to help our clients see the value of dramatically reduced energy usage, smaller landfills, healthy and safe environments.
With a TF Forming Systems' vertical insulated concrete forms home, you can own an energy efficient house that is built to withstand natural and man-made disasters. It's also mold, allergen and termite free!
A common issue with insulated concrete form structures is lack of design flexibility. Not with TF Forming Systems' vertical walls. We developed our systems with the design professional & builder in mind.
